What this work is — and what it isn’t -
A short note on where coaching helps and where it doesn’t, so you know what you’re walking into.
1. What I do
2. What I don’t do
3. When to see a doctor instead
I’m an IAFM-certified Functional Medicine Health Coach. My work with you is partnership, education, and behaviour change — making sense of your goals, translating advice from your doctor into something you can actually live, and helping you build sustainable habits around food, sleep, movement, stress, and connection.
I don’t diagnose, treat, prescribe, interpret lab reports, or stand in for your doctor. Coaching is not medical care, and it is not therapy.
Anything acute or urgent, anything where the treatment plan is still being established, pregnancy, or a recent diagnosis you don’t yet understand — please see a registered medical practitioner.
4. The agreements I make with you
- I’ll be honest when something you need is outside my scope.
- I’ll keep what you share confidential, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
- I won’t record a session without your consent.
- If coaching isn’t helping, we’ll change the approach or end the engagement well.
